Johnny Cash is home!

We are so incredibly grateful our new journey as cattle owners has finally come to fruition. God downloaded a crazy mission and vision for us to bring cow cuddles/steer smooches to the Las Vegas Valley. 

Once I found out our home was zoned for chickens and large livestock I prayed hard on what animals to get and here we are. Haha! Originally I was actually going to offer free sessions to the Vegas community but a lot of cattle owners advised I need to charge because of my time, feed, vet bills, care, and etc. adds up. 

As I kept sharing my story and documenting our journey on getting a steer (castrated bull) a lot of people reached out to meet him. So the entrepreneurial spirit in me was like hey... maybe I should charge. So I am doing market research and asking friends and family on how much they would pay for this experience. 

We have partnered with Tractor Supply and Farm to Table Farmers Market to offer Steer Smooches on the go until we get our special use permit approved from the city/county to offer this experience at our home. The next step is to go in front of a townhall meeting and present our why. Then the county commissioners need to approve the on site at our home Steer Smooches experience. 

We got our liability insurance set to go, our business license approved for Steer Smooches on the go, now we are working with Johnny Cash everyday and he is such a sweetheart. 

We are slowly inviting people over to get him acclimated and he just loves scratches and eating grains from peoples hands. 

We need all the prayers for this new crazy adventure God downloaded in us. But just wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for the love and support.
